Sand Castle Condo C-1 is located across the street from the beach, in a small condo community. The nautical decor invites you in. Beautiful hardwood floors in living room, kitchen and dining room. The private deck off dining room is a great spot for morning coffee while listening to the sounds of the ocean. Just on the other side of the gate a picnic table awaits. There are many amenities to keep your children entertained, including an indoor pool and Jacuzzi hot tub. Across the street at the Tolovana Wayside is a small park, perfect for picnics. The master bedroom has a king size bed and adjoining bathroom. There is a queen size bed as well as bunk beds in the second bedroom. The hall bathroom has a bathtub and shower. Living room has a hide-a-bed for extra guests. Stack washer/dryer for your use. Wireless Internet and single car garage. Sleeps 8 max, no smoking, no pets and parking for 2 cars.

Overall a great place to stay, and would definitely return. Minor flaws: smelled musty when we first opened the door, but we got over it because the place was very clean; and there were no hair dryers like there are in other units in this complex. Great gas fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, nice outdoor space, a good unit overall.

I enjoyed the experience, how I was treated, the close proiximty to several enjoyable activities, the overall level of maintanence the condo has obviously received. It is slightly dated, but has been kept up, and certainly kept clean. The closeness to the beach and other activities made a short trip to Cannon Beach one that even my youngest child enjoyed!

Thought you might need to know: the circuits kept blowing when we used a hair dryer. We only ran one at a time but still blew circuits. Glad we had easy access to the board!

Sand Castle C-1 was a great place to meet with friends for the weekend. We were just a short walk from the beach and even though it was rainy we had a great time. The fire place made a cozy atmosphere after a walk on the beach.

Sandcastle C-1 was in a great location~ walking distance to the beach and Mo's for great seafood. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 (two adult children). We enjoyed the fireplace to take the chill out of the air in the mornings and for cozy evenings. The only drawback was that the master bedroom is very close to the road. Traffic was light during our visit but may be an issue during high season. Overall, an excellent home away from home.

We had a great time at C-1. The layout of the condo was open and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. We also enjoyed the fact that we were on the ground floor with plenty of fenced off room behind the condo (e.g., picnic table and room for the kids to play).

With 4 adults and 2 kids it was the perfect place to stay. The living room and kitchen is spacious and comfortable. Very clean and nicely decorated. It is close to a beach access also. The only down fall is not being able to walk to downtown. But can be overlooked with all the other pluses. We look forward to renting C1 again in the near future.

SandCastle C-1 condo was perfect for our beach stay this time. My 93 y/o mother-in-law was with us and can't do stairs so we needed everything to be on one level. She also used to like to swim so having the pool and hot tub available was great. Liked that we had two bathrooms. Only thing we missed by being on the ground floor is any view of the ocean at all. But the amenities in the condo were very nice - lots of kitchen space for our food (you don't see that very often). Liked the little private back patio - it gets the afternoon sun which made it nice to sit out to read etc before dinner. Only thing I could say as a recommendation would be: since you offer recycling, the units need to have a receptacle inside for these materials. Perhaps a bin in the closet? And there was not enough drawer space for clothing in Master Bedroom. Most beach clothes can be placed in drawers vs. on hangers. Lots of closet space but very little drawer space. Otherwise the place was very well appointed.

It was slightly damp smelling but we opened the doors and either it blew away or we got used to it. Other than that, we thought the location was great. Our kids loved the pool/hot tub area and the walk to the beach was minimal. Take the local shuttle into town! The driver was really knowledgeable about the area.
