Griswold’s is a stunning oceanfront home with breathtaking views. It is located on a quiet street in Tolovana Park. This classic home features an open floor plan on the first level, with massive pictures windows. As you enter the home the first bedroom with queen bed is just off the entryway. A bathroom adjoins the bedroom and is accessed off the dining area as well. There is plenty of seating for meals at the large dining table and at the kitchen island. The large kitchen functions well for multiple chefs. The grand wood fireplace is very inviting on a chilly evening. The beach is accessed by a private stairway. The impressive back yard is a wonderful area for barbequing, yard games, and is sure to bring hours of family fun. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and one full hall bathroom, as well as a full bathroom in the master bedroom. This first bedroom has 1 twin bed and 1 queen, and the second, bunk beds and a twin. The master bedroom with king bed is attached to the master bath.The other upstairs bedroom with queen bed boast views of the ocean. Sleeps 10 max, no smoking or pets, and parking for 4 cars.

This was our 4th year at the Griswold House, we love the comfort of the house, it's perfect with lots of beds and bathrooms. The upgrades this year were a nice surprise, beautiful new kitchen, hardwood floors and windows to look out at the beautiful beach. We are just wishing there were more mirrors in the bedrooms and upstairs bedrooms. We'll be back.

This house is terrific. The view is amazing from the great room and from 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. The great room itself is terrific. We loved the house and the private walkway down to the beach from the grassy backyard.

We almost didn't rent this place because for some reason it doesn't have wireless, or any, internet access (at least as of Oct 2011), which we really needed because all 4 adults had to work during this week. So we decided to rent a wireless hotspot for our trip and it was the perfect idea because we would have hated to miss out on this place. Property Management folks were very nice, too.

Fantastic house, but needs wireless internet and would be great if it had a hot tub. The correct address is 3750 South Pacific AVENUE (couple blocks south of Tolovana Beach State Park) if you map the address w/o the "Avenue" (like shown on the web site) it will take you to wrong address closer to haystack rock and downtown. So, our expectations were off about the location and we had to drive to downtown or else walk on the beach 1.4 miles north to haystack rock. Still it's worth the walk or drive because this place is amazing. Thanks!

We have stayed at the Griswold House several times. It is beautiful and a wonderful location. The kitchen and bathroom remodel are outstanding. New hardwood floors in the living room are beautiful. I would recommend this house for a large group.

This house really made our vacation. We had a large group to accommodate, and there was some trepidation about feeling crowded. All concerns evaporated when we saw the immaculate condition of the house, the vast amount of space, and the incredible location. This is the 3rd. year that we have stayed in this house and we have it booked for next year. We love our stays and the fun we have there. We like the houses distance from downtown because the beach has less people. When you want to go to town there is a free shuttle just 2 blocks away that is very convient.

This is the 3rd year renting with a group of women for our yearly CB Sista's retreat and we'll be back next year ! The beds are VERY comfortable. Great to have 3 full bathrooms, a large kitchen and a pantry, with a group of 8-10 women, we need this space! The large dining table is great for games and sitting down to eat together. The fireplace supports gas and wood which is really nice. Small nits; needs new carpet downstairs and the dining room light fixture could be updated. We all LOVE this place and look forward to coming back. It's obvious the owner cares about their property. I've been renting properties from CBPM for about 15 and they are great.

Great location, home is great! However, dusting might be more thorough and the upstairs vaccum outlet fixed(because we made a mess after a hike in the woods!

This was our fourth year in the Griswold house which obvious says that the family loves the house, loves the beach and loves Oregon. Other than the weather, we would not change a thing. And there are many family members who would not change the weather. Just sitting in that house with that spectacular view is a little bit of heaven. Evenings around the fire on the beach right in front of the house make fond memories. Clearly we recommend the Griswold House.

This was our second year at this house and we have booked it again for next year. We love the kitchen, living room, and dining room all open to each other. It has nice little front yard that the kids can play in and be watched from the living and dining rooms. We like the location of the house also. You are far enough south of down town Cannon Beach to not have alot of people on the beach, and only a short drive to down town.

Our stay was WONDERFUL!!! The only suggestion I would have would be to fix the oven. The upper oven is very hard to turn on and the lower oven got stuck in the lock position. It took us a while to get it unlocked. Also, the knives barely cut (need to be sharpened) and there are not very many bowls (a ton of plates though!). Overall, our stay was awesome!

We had 2 days of rain out of 7, the house was fabulous and very comfortably accomodated all 10 of us. It's more than fully equipped which was REALLY nice to see. We all felt very much at home in this house. The owners and CBPM do a great job with this house. This year's stay was perfect in every way and we're looking forward to staying in this house again next year. P.S. Highly recommend reading the house info so you'll know the fireplace is wood burning, but also has a gas line (key to right) and good info about the TV (I think the downstairs setup runs the setup in the master).

My three sisters and I, along with our husbands, chose Griswald House for a "Sister's Reunion." We all had a great time and found the house to be perfect for such an occasion. It's location right on the beach was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the sunsets over the ocean. The surrounding area has lots to offer as well.

This was the second time I rented the Griswald Home and it was fantastic. New furnishings made it feel a bit updated - but the real gem is its location. It was great to watch the waves right out the windows and walk down to the beach almost out the back door. I would highly recommend this as a vacation rental to anyone interested in a fantastic beach experience.
