We all (3 women + 2 dogs) had a great time - especially enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen!

The size & location of this unit fits our needs perfectly. The remodeler did an excellent job.
We had a wonderful stay at Aldoren's Wind and Tide- Cute quaint cottage right on the beach- Three areas of constructive advice: Tv is difficult operate, no stereo system and if like to cook, bring all of your spices, condiments, etc. Brand new Webber gas BBQ was great!
We stayed during some of the November 2009 stormy weather, and the Wind N Tide was a perfect place to watch it all! You were right there with the storm, but of course didn't have to be out in it. Amazing spot, loved it.
The recent updates at this rental house make this an even better place to relax and enjoy the ocean view. It literally is "on the beach". We have stayed here several times and each time have a wonderful, relaxing visit. The easy access to the beach and the unobstructed view of Haystack are two things that keep us returning.
great location on a quiet public beach access road. parking was crowded out because the garage was not available for our use. will be back as soon as i can.
My only concern with the property is the way the upstairs is photographed, it should be more clear that all the beds are in the same room. It did not affect our stay but could effect others.Most of the furnishings in the house seem a little run down, the upstairs full bed is very low to the floor and was not comfortable so my husband and I spent the second night on the twins pushed together!Overall the house was great, a little updating of the furnishings would make it spectacular.
This house is charming and next to my favorite Inn on the Oregon Coast. The house is well-equipped for cooking in, and the location great for a beach walk into Cannon Beach for eating out. What a wonderful place to spend time, rain or shine!
Nice beach house, great location. Not too crowded, not too remote. Beautiful views from the house and deck. Great vacation.
We were thrilled with the updates that had been done since our last visit in 2007. Planning on using this property, one again, next July. The location is the BEST!!!!!!
we had a wonderful time at this home- we were sure that the pictures were not accurate with how close it is to hay Stack rock and that it is ion the beach!!! I am afraid to rate it too high and it will not be available any more!!! thanks Again

What a great little house located right on the beach and only a stones throw from Haystack Rock. Beautifully remodeled but the furniture needs to be updated. The big 42" flat screen in the living room was very nice but there needs to be at least a small TV in the master bedroom. Gas fireplace, new BBQ out in the back yard, very private and perfect for your pet. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves the ocean in you face. We will be back in the fall... thank you for a great stay...
This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We love the location everything is clean, and tastefully beach decor. It's nice for a family with older children as they have the upstairs to themselves. The only complaint is that the couch isn't very comfy. We will stay here again. Love the kitchen remodel.
We had a wonderful stay. The location and house were absolutely perfect for us. Even the rainy weather did not detract from our time at the coast. The house was very clean, modern and obviously well kept. The management company was very helpful when we couldn't figure out how to work the gas fireplace. Couldn't have been a better location for us. WOuld definitely come back.
Great location. My only suggestion is supplying a blow dryer and additional cleaing supplies.

The new windows and blinds are a great improvment to the rental.
This property has such potential. Great location and good size. It is just so run down and looks so uncared for. Why isn't anything being done to keep it up?

"Wind 'n Tide" is a beautiful older two bedroom home right on the ocean south of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach. Two blocks away is an incredible bakery "Waves of Grain" which you shouldn't miss! Even off-season when the weather is dull this home is a delightful place to stay. The home is spotless, has all the kitchen gadgets you could want and the ocean views are spectacular. Rental management are helpful, after-hours checkin was flawless - I recommend CBPM.
The home could be updated a bit and the outside maintained better, but overall, it's a wonderful property and I would stay again. It would also be nice to have wireless internet.
My husband and I felt it was one of the best vacations we have ever had with our dogs. We were stunned by the view and the beach. We had a hard time leaving our place to go exploring elsewhere.
I grew up in Oregon and was born in Tillamook so I'm very familiar with the Oregon Coast. And since I was a kid I've always wanted to stay at one of those old houses right on the beach. So this was a dream come true! It was also a treat for our friends who stayed with us who had never been to the Oregon Coast! We walked along the beach, flew kites, barbequed on the deck and even baked a pie in the kitchen! And we were there in early May when the weather was still rainy, so I'm sure it would be 10 times better in the heat of summer! My only comment is that it would have been a plus to have some newer pots and pans to use in the kitchen. But Aldoren's Wind 'n Tide would be my first choice next time I make it down to the coast!
