The kitchen is organized well, there's a Weber grill, an outside deck for nicer weather, and a nice fireplace with plenty of wood for rainy days. There are two bedrooms: one is a master BR suite with bathroom, more private. The other bedroom is pretty small but has the sound of the ocean, and it does have its own bathroom close by. There's room for two more people on a convertible sofa in the LR. Also a washer and dryer.A notebook on the coffee table offers tons of information about things to do and places to eat in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend for a cozy beach house in the nicest area of Cannon Beach - property-wise and for its proximity to a quiet and beautiful stretch of beach.
I was impressed with all the amenities provided; plenty of wood, cooking utensils, soaps, cleaning supplies, and laundry supplies. It was very quiet and the view was terrific! It was also very nice to be able to walk out the door to the beach. It was very restful and restorative.
We love the cottage --consider it ours! You have always arranged great weather --- so we plan to come again next year. This is a great area of the beach.
You can't beat a cottage right across the street from beach access! It was a relatively inexpensive lodging for what you got. It definitely showed it's age, but it wasn't there to spend tons of time in. It was a great location for visiting and exploring. We would definitely come again.
We enjoyed our stay at Chapman Cottage, but the ocean view was obstructed by the lone tree across the street (and the random surfer cars).
