    Get a HD tv and a remote that turns both the cable and tv on and off with one push. The tvs are so inexpensive nowadays. I trust you fixed the non functioning burners on the stove. The top that goes over the trash cans needs to be hinged, a little different construction, but simple.

    This is a great little beach house...simple, small...but everything you need for a stay at the beach. Ocean views from the living room (across the road and over the beach grass) and a beach trail just across the street gets you to Ecola Beach which is quiet and lovely. The house could use a little updating, but overall it was great...and you just can't beat the location!

    This is a charming cottage that could use some updating. But what the cottage lacked in some of the internal esthetics, it made up for in part by it's location and cozy feeling.

    This place is really great for relaxing no matter what the weather. It is cozy and has a fireplace that is really charming. This is my fourth time here and I intend to return as long as it is possible.

    Washer was out of order ---
    Also, I did work on the master bathroom sink, as it was running very slow.

    Overall, we love the Chapman Cottage and the north end. Wish it was ours.

    Very nice place, we would definitely return. Have been to Cannon Beach several times but this is the first time we have stayed at the north end of the beach. We really liked the location, nice and quiet, great access to the beach and to town. It was a nice space, we liked all the books in the cottage!

    A great view, comfy furniture, and even wireless access combine to make this a great place to stay. The second bedroom is.... cramped.... and it is a short hike to get to the actual water, but we love this cottage.

    I really love this place. It has a wonderful ocean view. It is on a very quiet street that overlooks the beach. There is a path that goes down to a very secluded beach.The beach itself is very scenic. This was my second trip to the house. I have a 3rd trip planned this Summer. The Cannon Beach Propery Management staff is very friendly and efficient. The interior of the house is a little 70's in style but very clean and well maintained. There is also a very nice backyard with views of the coastal range

    Overall, everything was fantastic and would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone wanting a nice getaway in Cannon Beach. Although a small thing, would mention a lack of towels and bedding upon arrival to accommodate 6 total guests, HOWEVER, with one phone call to the property management office, the situation was quickly resolved. This is a beautiful cottage in a great location that offers such a beautiful view and access to the beach. The location was perfect for us because we wanted a more quiet, remote setting. It was a quick drive to town and there's also a shuttle very close by. The kids had a blast and never were without something to do. The TV/VCR came in handy for videos on colder evenings and there are even a few games if you don't bring your own. Sleeping arrangements very comfortable and there is privacy for a master bedroom with it's own bath. We will most definitely rent again for future visits to Cannon Beach.

    But we didn't care at all because we stayed in a wonderfully cozy little house with a magnificent view of the ocean. They supplied all the wood you could possibly want to enjoy the fireplace. The kitchen was amply supplied for gourmet cooking. What a great weekend!

    There is no better location in Cannon Beach, in our opinion. The sound of the waves breaking just outside your bedroom window is marvelous. The cottage has everything you might need for rainy or sunny weather, including tons of books and games.

    The kitchen is organized well, there's a Weber grill, an outside deck for nicer weather, and a nice fireplace with plenty of wood for rainy days.

    There are two bedrooms: one is a master BR suite with bathroom, more private. The other bedroom is pretty small but has the sound of the ocean, and it does have its own bathroom close by. There's room for two more people on a convertible sofa in the LR. Also a washer and dryer.

    A notebook on the coffee table offers tons of information about things to do and places to eat in the area.

    Overall, I would highly recommend for a cozy beach house in the nicest area of Cannon Beach - property-wise and for its proximity to a quiet and beautiful stretch of beach.

    I was impressed with all the amenities provided; plenty of wood, cooking utensils, soaps, cleaning supplies, and laundry supplies. It was very quiet and the view was terrific! It was also very nice to be able to walk out the door to the beach. It was very restful and restorative.

    You can't beat a cottage right across the street from beach access! It was a relatively inexpensive lodging for what you got. It definitely showed it's age, but it wasn't there to spend tons of time in. It was a great location for visiting and exploring. We would definitely come again.
