Haystack Rock, Beach, and Tidepools


Visit Haystack Rock while the Haystack Rock Awareness Program volunteers are there to provide information about the tidepools, marine life, resident bird life (including the Puffins in the spring), and the environment.

Horseback Riding


It's a wonderful small beach town where you can see horses tied up downtown, or watch riders on the sandy beach. Contact the Sea Ranch Stables for reservations.

State Parks


Arcadia Beach - approximately three miles south of Cannon Beach

Ecola State Park - north end of Cannon Beach

Oswald West State Park - about 10 minutes south of Cannon Beach, including Short Sands Beach
