We so enjoyed our time at Cannon Beach, as we always do! We have stayed in a home, arranged through CBPM six times and it always goes smoothly, professionally, and provides exactly the anticipated experience. The location of the Nordic Star is perfect. Thank you everyone at CBPM!

We have stayed at this home previous years and it was lovely. This year it was not as clean and seems to have some necessary deferred maintenance. It looked as if the lower level primary had not been cleaned. Dusty and bathroom had not been mopped. Sheets were stained and the top cover was also stained.Lawn is no longer being watered and had over a dozen piles of elk poop so we couldn’t let the kids out on the front lawn. When I went to the office and spoke to Carol I was told that they were not responsible for cleaning that up. I said I'd do it if there was a shovel but got no offer of a shovel. It's difficult dealing with Carol on any issue as customer service is not a priority. She's rude more than she is helpful. The other women in the office are really easy to deal with. This home will continue to deteriorate if issues aren’t addressed. I would stay at this property again if I didn’t have to deal with Carol.

Overall a lovely property. Easy access to the beach. Quiet. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable floor plan with bedrooms downstairs and the upper floor a well-appointed family room for gathering. We would stay there again. HOWEVER Just prior to (and I suppose after) our stay at least part of the roof was being replaced. The shingles had been removed on the portion of the roof just above the little deck and new shingles were piled on top waiting to be installed. (This may have happened after the last cleaning.) The deck was not swept. There were bent roofing nails and small pieces of shingles on the deck and chairs. While we were sitting on the deck ... on the cheesy light plastic "Adirondack" chairs my husband (who is not a tall or heavy man) reached up to stretch (not leaning back), and his chair snapped in half. He fell backwards on to the deck hitting the back of his head. He had a headache for awhile and aches in his shoulder, but he's OK now. If those chairs have not been discarded, they should be...

Staff were very helpful, calling to let us know about the closure of 101 coming into Cannon Beach due to the ice storm, and enabling us to check in before 4 pm, again due to the storm. It was an adventurous week!

The house is very comfortably furnished with a large living area. The kitchen is very well stocked. The location is great with excellent beach access and within walking distance to a bakery, pub-restaurant, and grocery store.

This is a wonderful home with a warm and comfortable layout. The upstairs is a great family gathering area and the bedrooms are perfect. The only downside to the house is the small size of its deck which makes it harder to enjoy the outdoors after arriving back from the beach.
