Large house with great location. House could use some deferred maintenance but I would stay here again.

Great house, close to the water, can hear the ocean at night. Kitchen well stocked, great space for our family of 7. Loved the close walk to the beach. Prpoerty management company was also excellent, great rental, 5 Stars!

We have been coming to Cannon Beach for 20 years and have stayed in many rental homes. This was our first time to rent the Anderson House, and overall we were pleased. We enjoyed the location, as we prefer to be in the Tolovana Inn area and especially like the south side. The floor plan of this rental house was great and fit the needs of our family very well. We loved the views from the upstairs family room, porch, and kitchen area especially.

However, just a few upgrades would’ve made our stay much nicer. First, the downstairs beds were extremely old and uncomfortable. New comfortable mattresses are quite inexpensive and would have improved our stay greatly! There were also very few towels available, no beach towels, and no extra blankets. No beach were available for guest use; almost every rental house we have stayed in has provided these. Lastly, the reclining chair upstairs was on the brink of falling apart.

Again, overall a great house, but just a small monetary investment would improve the value of this house tremendously.

We LOVED this location - it's on the south end of Cannon Beach, so less touristy, and the beach access is less than a block away. The house has everything you need to make meals at home and was perfect for our family vacation. The foosball table is great for down time at home and we used the grill and ate on the deck while listening to the ocean - it was lovely.

The overall stay was good and the location is excellent. The property needs TLC from the owners. Fresh coat of paint, new flooring, update the bathrooms a bit and new caulking would make a huge difference. The house was indeed clean, just some issues with old caulking. The house is great for multiple guests. The management company is great. I would rent this house again as I might be a bit picky, but we did enjoy our stay.

My sisters and our mom came for a long weekend to celebrate our birthdays. While the property is dated, it was very comfortable, clean, had plenty of room and the location was amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We've been coming down to Cannon Beach for the last 10 years using CBPM, & this was our first time at this vacation home. It had a lot of perks. The location, amount beds/rooms, large dining area and ocean view. You could tell they tried to stock the kitchen with the essentials for all your baking and cooking needs ie. Pots, pans, dishes, knives, utensils, odds and ends. The house needs work though. The carpets were stained/very used, the walls were scuffed and dinged, water stains on the ceiling, and the downstairs had a musty smelled to it. It was just apparent the overall house needed some TLC.

We were able to host most of our grandchildren, easily get onto the beach, and easily shop and frequent Sea Level Bakery plus coffee.

We had a fantastic stay this summer at the anderson trail house. Location is on a quiet street set back from the main hemlock street and only 1 block from the beach. Very cute grocery store and a lovely bakery within short walking distance. Main part of cannon beach a 25 minute walk. The house itself had a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and a roomy living area. Could use new carpeting. Rental agency is great- very responsive and friendly.

Easy check in. Lovely home. The kids loved the downstairs. Upstairs had the kitchen and dining and a big living space. Had great views and made it an awesome place to be in the house. The beach access was 3 houses up or down the street. Overall great. Bathrooms were clean. Had a laundry room.

Honestly this was not the quality that I have come to appreciate with this property management company. Upon entering the home it was obvious that it had not been opened up in quite a while. It smelt very musty and old. Off-putting. The outside property was not maintained, weedy and overgrown. There were cobwebs and dust, grease on the stove and a fry pan that was very clearly put away without being washed. Whereas the location of this property was very good, I would not choose this property again nor would I recommend it. However I would work with CBPM again.

This property was great for our small family of 3, but it would be just as enjoyable for larger or multiple families. Lots of light in all rooms, space to lounge, very clean. We loved the views and how close it is to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.
