Recent Reviews About This Property

"Upgraded when our other rental fell through, The Sister's made for an excellent weekend. Warm and cozy, with a greater sense of privacy than expected. Loved the small fireplace, and the large open kitchen. Exactly what we wanted for the weekend."

Kevin S. from Portland, 12/14/2016

"Thank you so much for yet another phenomenal stay at The Sisters. My best friend and I celebrate our birthdays every year and she had never been to CB before (she's from the East Coast); not only did she fall in love with CB but she fell in love with the charm of this property. We had an outstanding time walking around town, combing the beach, meeting others who were in for the weekend, we had incredible coffee and dinner at The Irish Table was unmatched. We can't wait to come back, I would recommend this place to anyone!"

Lucas K. from Seattle, 10/11/2016

"We primarily booked "Sister's" because we needed a dog friendly property, and we had stayed here a couple of times before. It is totally fenced and a short walk to the beach and town. It was very adequate for my husband and me and our lab. It was well maintained with plenty of dishes, cookware, linens, etc. This property could use a little upgrading, but overall was fine. While there, we had breakfast at the Lazy Susan which is NOT to be missed. "

from Bend, 10/08/2016

"It's enough space for 4 people to share. Beautiful dining ware, but not enough cooking ware. If you want to cook you need to bring some of your stuff.

The house is clean enough and well staged. It can be quite noisy and bothersome late night and early morning being right next to the main street."

Jian C. from Hillsboro, 09/20/2016

"Excellent location!"

Gretchen K. from Seattle, 09/06/2016

"We enjoyed the Sisters property. It was a "old school" beach house with none of the bells and whistles, but everything we needed for a comfortable, cozy stay. We would stay at this property again. The proximity to the beach, haystack rock, sleeping monk coffee and town was ideal. We would have liked to have some outdoor seating or a table outdoors."

Susan K. from Boise, 08/14/2016

"My wife, daughter and 2 dogs had a great experience staying at The Sisters. It's right on the main road, so there's a lot of foot traffic on the sidewalk out front, which the pup's loved getting attention from while in the secure fenced in yard. The location is great, just a quick walk (2-5 mins) to two main parts of town, and a block from the beach access. It is a bit north of Haystack Rock, which allows for a nice beach walk. The house is not the most fashionable, or updated with a ton of modern amenities if that's your preference, but worked well for us."

Ty B. from Grand Junction, 08/05/2016

"This was our second visit staying at The Sisters. The home itself is nothing to write home about (the bathroom walls are "rustic" at best) but the house has a big fenced yard, and is half a block from the ocean with (obviously) stunning views. You don't have to cross a street to get to the beach which is nice as we're still training our puppy, and he LOVES the yard!"

Elizabeth C. from Hillsboro, 07/26/2016

"Accommodations were perfect for our sandcastle contest experience. Great location! :)"

Julie N. from Portland, 06/28/2016

"Exactly what we needed, when we needed it. Everything was just perfect for us."

from Framingham, 06/13/2016

"We had such a great time at Sister's that when we checked out from our weekend we booked it for my birthday in 3 months! It's an amazing location to town - we didn't drive once and walked on the beach with our puppy every day. The yard is LARGE for a dog and fenced so it was perfect for our rambunctious 8 month old lab!
The house is dated but it had what we needed (except shampoo & bath soap!) and it was perfect for our needs!"

Elizabeth C. from Hillsboro, 05/11/2016

"We came down from Seattle area for a girls weekend (3 of us with one dog) and we were in love! Staff at the office was friendly, gave us maps and tide schedules and even a little welcome treat bag for my dog!

The house is literally like a block from the beach, and a 2 minute walk right into downtown.

The yard is huge and fenced in, which was great for the dog play fetch in (with the tennis balls from the doggie basket provided along with towels and a water bowl!)

Everything was great. It did get a little warm and figuring out the air a little bit of a challenge, but we got it.

We definitely are coming back and requesting The Sisters again!"

Joleen K. from Lynnwood , 04/19/2016

"We had a wonderful time at this cozy beach cottage! The location was excellent, right in town and a hop skip and a jump to the beach. We will definitely be back!"

Laura S. from Gig Harbor, 03/07/2016

"my sisters- patti and debby and i had a great time. lots of firewood kept it cozy during the stormy halloween weekend. oh yeah, riley my big black dog loved the beach."

Tim D. from Portland, 11/11/2015

"We absolutely loved the house and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was close to the beach and downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. We will stay here again and recommend it to everyone. "

Morgan G. from Portland, 09/29/2015

"I have always had great service at CB Property MGMT. We usually stay at the house named Sisters. It works out great for us and our dog. Love coming to Cannon Beach."

Karen B. from Puyallup, 09/16/2015

"Perfect location! 5 houses from beach access, 2 blocks easy walk to the heart of downtown. And one of the only houses with a yard. House is SMALL-A true beach bungalo. The bedrooms barely have 2ft on each side of bed, and no closet space. Kitchen and living room good size. Perfect for a couple with 2 young children like us who want outside space to relax and play away from the beach but close to everything."

from Ferndale, 08/18/2015

"Our stay at The Sisters began as a gift from the owner 14 years ago. We have continued it since. The house, though built in the late 20's or early 30's has a quaint charm that is very comfortable and relaxing. The 2 bedrooms and 1.1 bath (w sofa bed) has allowed us to have in-laws stay as well. We walk to downtown CB only minutes away. The beach is out the door, turn left and walk 4 houses down. We already booked it out again for next year. "

Doug & Becky B. from Portland, 08/11/2015

"We loved our stay at Sister's! We stayed with six people plus a toddler and the house worked well for all of us. The house has a typical beach house feeling and is open enough to enjoy quality time together. The best part for us was the huge fenced yard where the dogs and toddler could safely play and we could set up our camp chairs and enjoy the fresh air. It's nice to have an outdoor spot that is less breezy than the beach can be at times. And of course the location half a block from the beach and a quick walk to town was ideal! We would definitely come back to Sisters!"

from Seattle, 07/09/2015

"This is right by downtown Cannon Beach - walk maybe two blocks to the start of everything. Or walk a block in another direction to beach access. When we stayed, it was much cheaper then the hotel, and dog friendly. Our dog loved playing in the yard (she doesn't have a fenced once at home so she stays on a leash otherwise).

The house itself is a little cramped - in the master bedroom, you can't open the drawers in the dresser without hitting the bed. It took a little while to figure out how to work the individual air conditioners (but, hey, they were there and worked!)

When we went the price was really great and pet rent fee was reasonable (cheaper then a single hotel room!)."

Chris G. from Kirkland, 07/01/2015

"Wonderful location - they even provided great weather!"

Julie N. from Portland, 04/21/2015

"This was such a great little place to spend Spring Break! It was 2 of us and our labradoodle, and there was plenty of room. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were stocked, the home was clean, and the yard was great! The cable and wifi access were both nice to have during the rainy times too. Even though this house was located on the main street, it was pretty quiet, and was still about a 2 minute walk down to the beach or to the downtown shops. "

from Yakima, 04/20/2015

"We had a great time in a very cozy cabin just steps from the beach. Very comfortable, lots of firewood. Watched the Seahawks baffle the 49ers on their cable, wifi was fast. Had everything in the kitchen to cook a Thanksgiving meal."

James R. from Redmond, 12/16/2014

"This is in a great part of town right by pig and pancake. This little house is a great price with a big yard. Easy walk to the beach. My family of 5 likes it."

Jeff M. from Portland, 10/07/2014

"We had a great time staying at Sisters home in Cannon Beach. We have stayed here several times. We love it. CBPM is a very good company to work with. Have never been dissatisfied."

Karen B. from Puyallup, 09/14/2014

"This was a perfect location! The beach and the town was all within close walking distance. The house was big enough for me and my 5 friends. Know that having 6 people in this house is pretty cozy, so you'll all need to be patience taking turns using the shower. The pull out sofa bed wasn't all that comfortable, but my friends were prepared and brought an air mattress as a substitute. The long drive way was able to accommodate 3 cars parked tightly. There is wifi available just be sure to get the login & password from the rental office. The house is on a corner lot; you enter through the back door from the drive way. We made most of our meals in the kitchen that was fully stocked with pans, skillets, plates, mugs, etc."

Chao-Lin H. from Seattle, 09/09/2014

"We've stayed at "The Sister's" for over 10 years and enjoy the "hominess" that it offers. Comfortable & cozy, not pretentious, and my family and in-laws (6) all enjoy the week we spend together. Easy walking distance to downtown area, Mariner's Market and the beach is only 5 houses to the West. "

Doug & Becky B. from Portland, 08/19/2014

"We loved the location, fenced yard and proximity to the beach. This place is cozy to say the least, I don't think you could comfortably fit 6 people in here though. We found the kitchen too full of duplicates, chipped dishes, and extraneous silverware and no where to stash the items we'd brought for ourselves to eat. There is a nice charcoal bbq, but no tools for it, such as a large flipper.

As for the bedrooms, no storage because it's filled up with way too many towels and a random dresser in the queen bedroom that made it difficult to get in/out of bed and to make the bed, plus you couldn't open the drawers anyway.

It is only blocks from town so no need to really drive your car anywhere in Cannon Beach.

All in all, we would definitely rent again and would recommend it highly to our friends."

Kimberly R. from Brier, 08/17/2014

"Had a wonderful time in this cute house! Easy walk to the beach and shopping. "

from Hillsboro, 06/24/2014

"This is a great little house. Our family of five and lab had plenty of room. Can't wait to return.

Kelli S. from Stanwood, 04/25/2014

"Overall the location of the cottage and the basic needs were met. However, the main bedroom is small and very little space to walk around the bedroom and had trouble opening the dresser drawers because they hit the bed. The 2nd bedroom with the bunk - well the have the top bunk and another bed slid underneath it - and its not a real bunk - there is so little space between the bottom bed and the bunk that even if you pulled it out you kept hitting your elbow or head. They need to rethink that layout. Location is what really sold us - we could walk into the downtown area to all the restaurants and walk easily to the beach. Decor was dated but comfy. The shower could use an upgrade, I'm 5'7" and had to duck to be able to get under the shower head."

Michele W. from Mechanicsville, 04/23/2014

"This is the third time we have stayed at Sister's and it is perfect every time! Plenty of wood for fires, close to the beach and close to downtown, fenced yard for the dogs. We will be back for sure!"

from Woodinville, 12/05/2013

"Our second time we came to the sisters beach house was just as much fun and romantic as the first. loved the fire place in the late eves, great place to snuggle up. 1/2 block from the beach where we can walk and the dog can run. great fun for all. don't forget to check out the local theater excellent plays. very peaceful"

from Hayden, 10/07/2013

"The location was great! There's a busy road nearby but it quiets down at night. The bedroom and bathroom are small but well designed. The house is very cozy. One issue - I didn't have any cell phone reception inside the house, so I had to go to the ocean to make some calls. But that may just be my cheapo carrier. "

Patricia S. from Olympia, 09/25/2013

"Fantastic stay and well-kept property. Thank you!"

Gretchen K. from Seattle, 09/05/2013

"We love the Sister's vacation property. The house is comfortable, cozy, and relaxing.
The Sister's has a down-to-earth quality to it, just the way a beach house should feel. It's perfectly located to the beach, and downtown Cannon Beach. We will be back in 2014, and for many years to come. Thank you, Sister's house!!"

Kimberly L. from Auburn, 08/22/2013

"This was a great place to stay. Management Company was very accommodating. It was our second time making the trip from Kansas to stay here. Great location to beach area, sand castle weekend and shops. "

from Prairie Village, 08/17/2013

"We loved our stay at sisters. The house was cozy and romantic with a great fire place. The location was good being 1 block from the beach, and 3 blocks from restaurants and shopping. Easy to walk everywhere. We also liked the large fenced yard for our schnauzer.
We are looking forward to returning to Cannon Beach and staying at Sisters.See you then....

from Hayden, 05/29/2013

"Easy walk to beach and town. Strong musty odor in this older home."

Susan D. from Seattle, 05/21/2013

"Nice little 'cottage.' Just a block from the beach and well appointed. Will rent again."

from kennewick, 04/03/2013

"This was our second stay at Sisters with our two old labs. We loved the fenced in yard and close proximity to the beach. The home is quaint and could use some updating; however, it suited us just fine."

from Sammamish, 04/01/2013

"The property is both adorable and convenient. You can't beat it for the price. The beach is right around the corner, and it is a quick and easy walk to town...less than 10 minutes. The kitchen has everything you need to make basic meals. The house is a little drafty in the winter, so be prepared to crank up the heat. Also, updating the house with WiFi or at least a LAN line for plug-in would be convenient for those traveling for business or with teenagers. "

from Pasco, 03/11/2013

"Sister's is in a great location, and works well when we bring the pups. It's not a fancy house but it's practical. My only complaint is that it's a bit drafty, and I would have loved to have had my slippers with me to keep my feet warm. "

Loreen A. from Snohomish, 01/03/2013

"I've found the perfect place to stay at the ocean side where we can walk on the sand or walk down to coffee shops and restaurants nearby. A quilt shop real close was a plus for me. Walking was pleasant and the frontage roads were great, a bench beside the road overlooking the ocean was wonderful. Thanks for a great vacation."

Donna M. from Vancouver, 12/02/2012

"The "Sisters" was a great little cottage. One block from to Cannon Beach and only a few blocks to the shops and restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a cozy little cottage for a few people. "

from Kirkland, 10/30/2012

"This is one of the best trips yet! We come to Cannon Beach every summer, this was our 7th year and we loved every minute.
Yes, the house is small, really small, but the location and the fenced yard for the dogs made up for any banged elbows!
The kitchen was better than I expected, there were more than enough dishes and cooking utensils. In fact we had to take some of their stuff out of the cupboards to make room for our food!
The folks at CBPM were awesome as usual. On our second day there the coffee pot kicked the bucket, they had a brand new machine to us within 10 minutes of calling them! Super cool.
There was a ton of firewood for making smores on the beach.

We will definitely stay here again."

Per E. from Tacoma, 08/13/2012

"Great location as usual. The yard had not been mowed, and the garbage had not been picked up the previous week. "

Max R. from Portland, 08/04/2012

"Just not very impressed with the size of the shower. Very uncomfortable."

Amos C. from Colbert, 07/30/2012

"I think this is one of the best properties near Haystack in Cannon Beach...obviously...I think we have stayed there 4 years now. It is a big inconvenience not having wireless internet though and the gate needs some work to protect my dog from getting out. The house could definitely use some updating, but really those are the two things that are a big concern"

from Tempe, 07/23/2012

"I always love staying at the Sisters property, the location is great and the house is fun and just the right size for me and my dogs. "

Tracie H. from Seattle, 06/13/2012

"A MILLION Thanks to Linda, Tammy and the Cannon Beach Post Office for going the EXTRA MILE!!!

A very special friend in San Francisco, sent a package for my Birthday...which was sent overnight, to be delivered to the rental address...on the day of my arrival.. Unknowing... that all packages sent to Cannon Beach go directly to the post office for pick up...
The CB post office called my friend in San Francisco and then called CBPM...Linda made a special trip to pick up the package and drop it off at my rental house....when they found out it was a Birthday gift.

Both my friend and I so appreciate...the EXTRA EFFORT taken by the staff of the CB Post Office and CBPM.... for the "Special Delivery" of my very special Birthday Gift!

This was my 2nd stay at Sister's and both experiences have been WONDERFUL... I look forward to using CBPM to book my future trips to Cannon Beach, for many years to come!!!

Thanks again, Linda and Tammy and the Cannon Beach Post Office Staff for EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!"

Dorothy F. from Kirkland, 05/10/2012

"Enjoyed the home, with plenty of dry firewood for the rainy and windy March 2012 weekend."

Skip C. from Everett, 03/19/2012

"Great location!"

Abbie M. from Chico, 02/21/2012

"My sister and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip. We had a lovely time in Cannon Beach and at this property. Pluses were it was really close to the beach and town and was incredibly clean. It was a smaller cabin which didn't bother us, and we found it cozy and comfortable, especially with the fireplace lit (they provide wood, but we needed to buy kindling and matches in town). We found the beds to be comfortable, there were plenty of blankets and towels, and it was nice to have half bath off the main bedroom.

I wouldn't call them minuses, just a few things to be aware of are there is no bathtub just a small shower (but with good water pressure). The cooking supplies were adequate but a little run down. The sleeping configuration in the second bedroom was a bit strange. It's a bunk bed with a twin on top and a full on the bottom - except the full doesn't fit under the bunk that well. I ended up moving it against the wall the best I could because I didn't like sleeping with my head in the middle of the room.

Overall a really nice vacation, and the price is right for this cozy cabin. I would stay there again. "

from Bend, 02/19/2012

"We have been visiting Cannon Beach as a family over the New Year week for 24 years, and this was one of the better properties we have rented. We especially appreciated the great location, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen and large pile of seasoned firewood. Less appealing: The bedrooms and bathrooms are very small, the one with the bunk beds has no heater and thus can be a bit chilly, and the living room and kitchen are drafty."

from Seattle, 01/04/2012

"My sister and I and my mom's dog spent 3 nights here in October, and it was a very relaxing time. It was nice to have the house so close to town with a nice big yard for the dog. The only things I would mention were the really small and somewhat unfinished-looking bathrooms, and the cramped quarters in the bedrooms. The beds were comfy, there just wasn't really room to move around them. The living room was a great place to hang out though - more spacious than I would have imagined. I would definitely recommend this property and plan to return again some day. It's a much better value than staying in a hotel, and you get so much more space and a full kitchen. Overall - a great place!"

"Will most certainly stay again. Very cute home, with dog friendly yard. It's very close to the beach and walking distance to all the shops. The main street that the cottage is on is a bit noisy during the peak season. Other than that, its awesome.

"We had a great time at Sister's. My only real complaint is that much of the kitchen utensils and supplies are in serious need of updating. The coffee pot was kind of gross. It was very old and the parts didn't match. It leaked every time you poured or
dripped on the counter and left a mess. The knives are an absolute joke. I do not suffer from arthritis or carpel tunnel, but I fear that after trying to cut up some stew meat, I might now! Oh, and the large spoons and spatulas were very old and one even had
rust on it. Definately inexpensive fixes, but would make a world of difference. On a happy note, these few things weren't enough to make our stay unenjoyable. We had a fantastic time and the location of the home could not have been beat! Close to town and
shopping and so very close to the beach. Oh, and those bar stools should probably be replaced for something sturdy too. Our 5 year old was sitting on one and because the legs aren't stretched very far apart when he tried to push back from the counter, it tipped
over and he fell back and nearly missed the coffee table. They made me so nervous that I wouldn't let them sit on them for the rest of the stay."

"Needs to get wireless access, but the location can't be beat. We love it."

"What fun to have a fenced yard for the dog at this cozy home located close to the beach and downtown. Bonus: a dishwasher! Would have preferred queen beds in both bedrooms, but managed fine. Thanks for the memories."

Shelley O. from Brier, 07/18/2011

"The home was very clean and in a great location (4 blocks from town, 1 block from the beach, and a short walk to Haystack Rock). We only used our car once in 4 days (to get to Ecola Park and back). You are literally able to walk everywhere. The house had a fully stocked kitchen, was dog-friendly, and had a washer/dryer. The online information said that there was a BBQ grill which was incorrect. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until after we had bought steaks to cook for dinner. The only other minor flaw was the size of the bedrooms. If taking a portable crib, be prepared to house it in the corner of the living room. No big deal unless your baby is a light sleeper...just something to keep in mind. Overall, the house was a cute little getaway for four adults. I would not recommend squeezing in six. Yard was absolutely perfect for dogs. Plus, the flowers in the yard were beautiful. I would definitely stay there again. "

"After renting several properties from CBPM, and having two dogs, we decided to try Sisters for the first time. We loved it! It was so nice to let the dogs out into the fenced yard and not worry about them! The cabin is very comfortable and short block to the beach and a few blocks to town. The beds were comfortable, and since it was chilly, we really appreciated the wood burning fireplace. The bathrooms are VERY small, but it's a cabin...and ample towels both for people and special doggie towels. But in all, the home was clean and inviting. We would definitely stay there again."

"We love being in Cannon Beach and this unit works well when you have pets. However, the new heaters only heat the upper air. Also, it is interesting being rousted at 3am to flee a tsunami!"

"The cozy house is not only clean, close to the ocean and the shops, but is also pet friendly. Our black labrador, Darla spent every day romping around the beach and every night curled by the fireplace. The property management folks were very nice, even offering to drive over a spare key when I locked myself out. We're already counting down the days until next summer. "

"Our stay at Sister's was delightful, we loved the proximity of the house to both the beach and charming downtown. The house was clean, and while small it was perfect for a small family of 4 or 2 couples. We highly recommend this cheery Cannon Beach rental home.

Michael H. from Portland, 08/17/2010

"Our family just loves this property. The location couldn't be better. We have been renting at Cannon Beach for 5 years, 2 at Sisters. The only suggestions we would have is to put in wireless internet and the blankets could use a good washing. See you next year!"

from Tempe, 08/07/2010

"I enjoyed my 3-night stay at Sisters and recommend it for 2-4 people. The house is located on CB's main street but I soon got used to that; within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, and one block from the beach. My dog loved the beach and yard. The house is spacious and clean. Because I was there in March, the house was a bit cool and the fireplace came in handy. There was no shortage of firewood. Very nice!"

Doris B. from Lake Forest Park, 03/19/2010

"we have stayed in this little house a number of times and liked the location and the fact we could have our 2 pugs with us. tv connect not good and i left a note. are there any other "pet friendly" homes in the area for walking to the beach and downtown? this one is a bit crammed. stay in touch."

Mary & Jim H. from Bend, 10/26/2009

"The location was great. able to walk everywhere. superclose to the beach. the house itself could use updating and better lighting in the bathrooms. nice fenced yard for the dogs."

"We have always loved Sisters when we walked by/after staying there we now have found a new home away from home. We would stay there again!!!!"

"CBPM was a great help, we locked ourselves out at 11:00 p.m. on the Friday night we were there, and management was so nice to come and rescue us."

Max R. from Portland, 08/22/2009

"GREAT yard for dogs or little kids because it's totally fenced in, including a gate at the driveway. Neighbors across the street were very friendly and sweet. There is a fair amount of foot traffic that goes by the yard, so be prepared if you have barking dogs. The house is on the west side of Hemlock so you just head to the left and about 4 -5 houses, you'll be at the dune that heads to the water - no crossing streets. Although the house is small, it's well laid out. 1 and a half baths - shower only. No internet. Otherwise, well stocked for a vacation rental. Would stay there again - great price for the location and taking dogs. I would have given 5 stars if the house hadn't smelled when I first got took several hours and air fresheners to get the musty smell out."

Vicki D. from Lynnwood, 06/17/2009

"Location is perfect (an easy walk to beach and stores). This is definitely a beach cabin, so the rooms are small, the bathrooms are cold, and things are showing age/use. But the quiet, privacy, and dog-friendliness make it perfect. And a washer-dryer to boot! Go home with clean clothes... We'll be back for sure. Biggest drawbacks were the small and worn mattresses (rolling to the middle all the time) and the cold rooms. Has one space heater but could use one more. Overall, way better than staying in a dog-friendly hotel and worrying about finding a place for them to do their business or worrying about the occasional barking."
